Another loss
It seems to be a season of loss these past few months. Charles Frace, another one of our amazing wildlife artists passed away December 16th. He was a wonderful artist and a pretty cool guy. I met him 12 years ago at the Pacific Rim Wildlife Art Show in Washinton, before I even started painting. He sat down with me and gave me advice, told me the ups and downs of being an artist, and encouraged me. Having been a professional artist since that time, I know how frustrating an "aspiring" artist can be in your booth when you are trying to work...but not to him. He was courteous and encouraging. He even had me squeeze his biceps to show me how strong his arms had become from painting. He was funny and talented...he will be missed.
