Baby steps

My husband, John, and I have taken on our first "baby". This is Jet, a four year old paint horse. This weekend he had his first ride and he did very well. He is definitely a project in the works, as he has some emotional issues. He is very sweet and just needs some work with his mind. He is going to be a very big horse and we are in the process of teaching him to respect our space as he seems to forget that he is not a little guy any more. He is teaching us as much as we are teaching him.
