In the Cave of the Old Ones

This is an old painting that I just had scanned from a transparency. Funny how technology changes so quickly. Just a few short years ago, we had slides and transparencies made of our work, now they are obsolete. Computer scans have taken over for recording our work, who knows what is going to be the "norm" in 10 years?
This is a pastel, 8x10 and is sold.

Three of a Kind

Finally done. This has been a labor of love. I took pictures of these horses at the Artist Ride a few years ago. They were waiting for us to finish photographing longhorns and eager to get to work. I love the intensity in their eyes, and the anticipation to get to work. These guys are working horses, and love their job. Now if I could just get my horse a job...

Art Appreciation

I posted on my blog a while back that I went to London with my friend, Linda Besse. While we were at the Victoria Albert museum, she talked about wanting to do a painting of people admiring paintings. What a great idea, and what a huge undertaking. She gave this painting wings and I am in awe of it. Please take a moment to check out her blog and see her step by step progress of it, I know it will wow you like it did me.
