32nd San Dimas Festival of Western Art 2008

There are not enough words to say how much I love this show. Every one is so wonderful and energetic. They take such good care of the artists, we want for nothing!
The exciting news for me from the show is I received a whopping three nominations for awards and won the Bronze Medal for First String, and the Silver Medal for The Kiss. It was a great honor. My thanks go to the judges for giving me such a great honor. The Bold and the Beautiful received the third nomination.

You can see the website for them at http://www.sandimasarts.com/

Congratulations on both the award nominations and the medals, although I am not exactly surprised. They are beautiful, both the subject and the painting...I only wish I could see them for real - Chrissy

Well hello! I am an artist also! I take photos, the use them as references. I totally agree that I have enough to keep me busy for a year! I just can't stop taking them! My camera has become another appendage! AND now I have recently joined the "blog" community! I don't know what I was thinking! I love searcing for similar blog friends! Your work is beautiful! I recently quit my "paying" job to pursue my art. I work with watercolor and pencil. I would love you critic' if you have a chance. I am still working on my website but it is accessible through my blog. Keep up the great work maybe we will meet at a show one day. Kim
