Snow-mageddon

We just got slammed by a snow storm (this is a good thing, by the way) and I wanted to go out and take some pictures. We let the dogs out to play and did they ever!!! Bella thrives in this weather, but the corgis have problems with deep snow. The pictures are the proof...

It IS leap day after all!

This is the last thing a husband sees before he throws a snowball at a 2000 dollar camera.

We got socked!!!

Minnesota is in the middle of the 10th snowiest winter in history and it is only February. We may be looking at a record breaking year. It is hard to fathom the 12+ inches we got over the last two days when it was 55 last week. I am not complaining though, I am getting a lot of work done. I will posting more work soon.
Zoe seems a bit disgusted here, doesn't she?
The shepherd hook outside my studio window.
The front yard this morning around 7:30. I love fresh snow.

Two dogs...

These are two dog paintings I did for a current online dog portrait competition...One is my dog , a corgi, Dakota, and the other is a friend's Great Dane. I hope you like them.
