Tag, I'm it...

Well, it finally happened. I knew it would eventually but I am still caught off guard. In case you are new to the blogging world, Tagging started some time ago. Someone who reads your blog tags you and your job is to write 5 interesting things about yourself. I am not a big fan of talking about myself, so I dreaded this. So, hear goes...and watch out, you will be next...

1. I love my job. The older I get, the more rare I find this statement to be. I am so thankful for having a job that I love to get up in the morning and do. Not to say that there are some days that a Godfather marathon and bonbons seem more fun, but on the whole, I am very lucky. I think the travel and research is my favorite part. Going to wonderful places like Rome and Africa to hang out and study is too cool.

2. I have play wrestled with a black bear, been jumped on by a mountain lion and have been held captive by a lion for over 7 hours in a cage. All true, I swear.

3. I am color blind. I know, how can you be an artist and color blind...and a woman? Well, I am. I do see color, I just have trouble with certain ones, blues and greens are my worst and my perception of temperature of colors is slightly askew. I manage though and have taught myself to see what I don't actually see....? Plus, I have a husband that is very patient when I call him away from a football game and into my studio for a color consultation.

3a. I am really tired of talking about my color blindness and explaining it. So, that is all I am going to say about that.

4.Dumb one...but important to me...I just adore my friends. My time I spend with them is my best time. I love the times on the phone, the late night wine (whine) sessions, the concerts and plays we go to and most of all, just the warmth inside knowing that if I have a rough day, they are there.

5. Finally...I have posed for Norman Rockwell, got to hang out with Crosby, Stills and Nash for a while, exchanged off color jokes with Queen Latifa, drove Bill Bixby around Paramount in a golf cart just before we lost him, and ran interference between Mel Gibson and Dr Ruth at a taping of Arsenio Hall. That is kinda interesting...

That's it...now I have tagged a few of you out there, so blog away. I will be very interested to see what you say about yourselves.
